Neill Jobe - Neill Jobe graduated from the University of North Alabama in 1996 with a B.S. in Geography and a Geographic Information Systems Certification. In November 2006, he attended the 2nd Annual University of North Alabama Geography Alumni Conference where he was named “2006 Geography Alumni of the Year” and was presented with an award for his enormous efforts and contributions to this growing industry. Neill is founder and now Sr. Vice-President of GEO-Jobe GIS Consulting. GEO-Jobe GIS Consulting was founded in 1999 and provides GIS and GPS digital mapping solutions to private and public organizations. Neill has personally pioneered various GIS projects for industries such as Long Range Transportation Planning, Local Government, Utilities and Public Safety in the areas of Enterprise GIS Implementation Solutions, ArcSDE Administration, Internet Mapping Solutions, Data Conversion, GEOdatabase Design, GIS/GPS Data Collection, Trimble GPS Sales & Training and Custom Software Development. In 2011 Neill was also asked to participate on the Strategic Planning Commitee for the the Alabama Geographic Alliance (AGA), an organization to improve the stature of geography in the state of Alabama through curriculum development and teacher training to enhance geographic literacy. Eric Edmonds – Eric graduated from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business in 2008 and serves as the Director of Marketing and Sales for both W.D. Elliott Johns – Elliott is a GIS Specialist with GEO-Jobe GIS. His primary responsibilities involve creating/editing geodatabases, post-processing data collection, distributing/installing software and geodatabases, & managing Trimble GPS equipment rentals.
Ben Apperson - Ben is the GIS Technician working with Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport (BTR). He is involved with integrating all airport properties and FAA grant information into the BTR GIS. As the Geo-Jobe representative onsite in Baton Rouge, Mr. Apperson enjoys working with the airport team to provide BTR a quality GIS experience and product.
Cliff Hoeffner – Cliff Graduated from Tennessee Tech University with a degree in Science with a concentration in Geographic Information Systems. He began working with GEO-Jobe GIS in 2006 as a GPS Data Collector. Since then, he has held several positions that have lead to his current title as a GIS/GPS Manager. His years of field experience has enabled him to work with multiple utility types and helped him develop a savvy understanding of utilizing GNSS to propel a utilities GIS. David Hansen - David was hired by GEO-Jobe in February of 2012 to work as an Application Developer in Gulfport, Mississippi. He has a degree in Geography with an Emphasis in Geographic Information Technology from the Honors College of the University of Southern Mississippi where he graduated as Magna Cum Laude for the college of Science and Technology. David has experience in many areas of GIS and Computer Science including algorithm development, database design, predictive crime analysis, public safety, asset management, and web application development. David specializes in coding and scripting with ActionScript, Adobe Flex, PHP, JavaScript, and is well versed in modern CSS and HTML principles. David primarily enjoys developing complex web applications that provide specialized solutions to clients and in solving unique problems while pushing the bounds of what is possible in web based GIS application development.
Nick Lawalin - Nick has over 5 years of professional geospatial consulting services experience and knowledge ranging from Digital Flood Information Map (DFIRM), database design & development, GIS analysis (3D and Spatial Analyst), map production, raster creation and analysis, AutoCAD to GIS conversion, GPS data collection\inventory mapping, and ArcGIS Online. GIS has made me look at the world around me differently. Nick’s story goes like this, “Whenever my wife and I are on road trips and we cross a stream from one of the DFIRM counties I proudly tell her, ‘Yeah, I digitized that.”
Mark Young – Mark was a collegiate athlete at Martin Methodist College until graduating in 2006 to pursue his career in the GIS industry. He is a GPS Tech II & Crew Chief who is responsible for carrying out the daily project tasks related to all data collection activities. When he is not in the field, he is at client offices training personnel on new Trimble GPS equipment purchases.
Joe Cox – For over five years, Joe has been the technical lead for the design, development, and maintenance of ArcGIS Server Enterprise Environments. He holds a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science with a Minor in GIS. Joe has a vast amount of technical experience and serves as an Application Developer for GEO-Jobe GIS.
